During 2013 Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall started to replace the City's 8-year old Beach Promenade by a newly designed World Class Beach Promenade. The work was carried out by a team of highly skilled Professionals engineers from Nong Nooch Garden. Whole the team did a very lousy job, ignoring all known facts about flood prevention incorporated in the 'old' design. Furthermore, whole the Promenade is poorly constructed, showing an almost complete lack of workmanship.
